Apple apparently wants to complement the
Internet Radio Beats medium term to more channels. In the USA, the Californian
company has the terms B2, B3, B4 and B5 protect together with the Beats logo as
a trade mark can (through its subsidiary Electronic Beats). So far, Apple
operates only one channel Beats: Beats 1 (B1).
Beats 1 went in June along with the music
streaming service Apple Music at the start. Beats 1 may be consulted free of
charge and is available in more than 100 countries. For the first time rumors
of more beats channels came on in August. Beats 1 sends twelve hours a day from
studios in Los Angeles, New York and London. Apple could start, for example,
beats 2 in Australia and Asia and thus send 24 hours straight or more live TV
channels for special events such as Christmas or at music events, switch
online.
Beats 1 can be heard on iTunes and the music
app of iOS and TVOS.
