According to the
roadmap displayed during the BUILD conference this week, Microsoft is planning
to integrate an ad blocker (AdBlocker) in a future version of Microsoft Edge browser.
The integrated ad
blocker is listed by the company as one of the most requested features by
browser users.
Details on when this
version will be available were not disclosed, but as the Redstone update was
divided into two stages and the support for extensions will be introduced for
the first, which is known as Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it is possible that
the integrated ad blocker appear in the second stage in 2017.
