At the beginning of
April the Huawei introduced new P9 Lite smartphone, a stripped down version of
the new flagship. The Chinese manufacturer dispensed with the cheaper model to
a better camera, but provides a good middle class smartphone. With the price of
new smartphone could be a serious competitor of OnePlus.
About two weeks ago the
Huawei was introduced P9 and P9 Plus for the first time. Now the rumor has been
confirmed by a mid-range model: the manufacturer has introduced the Huawei P9
lite. This is a more economical version of the new flagship. The lite version
is 5.2 inches tall FullHD Display. Responsible for this is an IPS panel. Under
the hood of the house processor HiSilicon Kirin clocked 650 quad-core CPU up to
2.0GHz. Underlying this is a 64-bit system with three gigabytes of RAM. The
16-gigabyte memory inbuilt can be expanded via a microSD card up to 128
gigabytes.
The camera of the lite
edition does not come from Leica and has only one lens. This dissolves with 13
megapixels and autofocus. The DUALTONE LED flash may not be missing. Those who
place a high value on selfies probably with the eight-megapixel front camera is
not bad advice. With pre-installed filters in the camera app, the images can
then be embellished. The 3,000 mAh strong battery should provide talk time up
to 18 hours, according to Huawei. In addition there is also a Dual SIM variant
of the Huawei P9 lite. In LTE is unfortunately omitted. For the fingerprint
sensor is there not only to unlock, but can also be used as a trigger or
receive calls.
In terms of design, all
P9 editions look very similar. The P9 lite also has a metal frame, weight is
147 grams. The operating system is Android 6.0 marshmallows with the in-house
user interface EMUI 4.1. The sale of novelty will begin in early May. The price
amounts around 299 euros.
