Lenovo has developed AirClass based on an easy to use for
both teachers and for students, allowing you to share documents, images, video
and perform live chat. Unlike traditional solutions for virtual meetings,
AirClass can play an entire lesson or training session in the exact sequence in
which it is held, while tracing functionality monitors the emotional
involvement of the students, through the study of video taken from their
personal webcams.
Analysts predict that the global market for software for
analyzing emotional reach 10 billion dollars over the next five years - and
AirClass is one of the first solutions to implement this functionality in the
field of virtual learning.
How does it work? It 'simple: students can allow the webcam
to take them back to their notebook during class. The videos, combined with
other data on participants in the session are analyzed in order to create a
report of the level of attention and public involvement during the lesson or
presentation. AirClass provides trainers such analysis as part dell'AirClass
Replay. It will then be the teacher to make the necessary changes to their
class in order to make it more appealing to the public to whom it is addressed.
Prices and availability in EMEA and in Italy are not yet
known, but will be announced in the coming weeks.
