Microsoft Released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10586.29

Microsoft has released Windows Mobile 10 Insider Preview Build 10586.29 and provided the first cumulative update for the preview of the mobile operating system to download. It is somewhat surprising why Microsoft provides this cumulative update only available for users of Insider Preview. After all, with the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL two new Windows 10 Mobile smartphones on the market those are to run with the final version supposedly. Windows 10 Mobile itself has still not been presented final.

The Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10586.29 is basically a bugfix update, which brings no new features and is therefore updated only in the minor version. Microsoft wants to make it so that the build 10586, the final build of Windows 10 Mobile.

The following improvements have been officially announced:

· Microsoft has improved the upgrade process. That should lead to fewer problems if a smartphone has very little memory.
· The compatibility with Silverlight apps from Windows Phone 8.1 has been improved.
· The performance and stability of the Microsoft Edge browser has been improved. The processing of URLs will now be easier.
· The stability of the Bluetooth-signal is to be enhanced.
· Switching between profiles with dual SIM devices was optimized.
· The data profiles for sending and receiving of MMS have been corrected.

Starting next week, then the new Lumia 950, Lumia 950 and Lumia XL supports 550 smartphones in the Insider program. Then the owner can also install this update. At that time also is Recovery Tool updated, so that you can restore Windows 10 Mobile for distress.

Since Windows was still not officially launched 10 caravans, there is also no concrete information as to when the updates for existing Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones are published. In the coming weeks and in the next year more insider previews will be waiting for us in any case.
