LG announced that it would
present a new 'X' series of smartphones at Mobile World Congress, and so it
was: the first two models of the X series: X Cam and X Screen . Both made its
debut at the event in Barcelona scheduled between 22 and 25 February.
According to reports from
the company, the devices X Cam and X Screen are designed "for customers
who do not want or need all the features found in today's high-end phones but
still want a phone with a good camera or advanced display ".
LG X Cam is offered with a
5.2-inch FHD display with 1080p resolution and is powered by an octa-core 1.14GHz
processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The battery is a
2,520mAh unit, the overall weight of 118 grams phone and measurements are 147.5
x 73.6 x 5.2mm. LG X cam is characterized by a front curved finish thanks to
the new 3D Bending Glass. Double the main camera on the back with a 13MP sensor
and 8 MP to "provide the most advanced experience of camera in a
smartphone is not top of the line". The secondary camera has an 8MP
sensor. The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. LG X
Cam will be 'available in Silver, Black, Gold, Pink Gold.

says LG.
LG X Screen is offered with
a main display and a 4.93-inch HD LCD secondary display from 1.76 inches (520 x
80 pixels), similar to what is found in LG V10. X Screen is powered by a
quad-core 1.2GHz processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory,
while the main camera has a 13MP sensor and a secondary camera sensor 8MP. The
device has a 2,300mAh battery and runs the Android operating system 6.0
Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The phone measures 142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1mm. LG X
Screen will be 'available in Black, Pink, and Pink Gold. Finally, X screen has
a fiberglass coating.
LG X screen specializes in

inches HD In-cell Touch and makes multitasking on X screen a breeze," says
LG. X screen is equipped with a Second Screen "Always-on"
functionality up to now only available on V10, the LG premium model. Second
Screen 1.76 inches is placed over the display of 4.93 inches HD In-cell Touch
and provides access to frequently used apps, take calls without interrupting
other activities on the phone and play music. As of V10, Second Screen allows
you to view time, date, battery level, and other notifications without turning
on the phone.

Recall that the LG press conference scheduled for February 21 has only covered the announcement of the new LG G5. LG X Cam and LG X Screen were instead revealed to the public the next day, February 22, and will be sold in Asia, Europe and Latin America from next March.
